Away We Go: Symmetry
I’m a bit of a junkie for that ethereal ease. Always on the lookout. An arrangement of clouds that mirrors each other for half a minute. Two waves cresting at the same time on either side of the bay. Always seeking the harmonious in that just-right way. Repetition catches at that deep satisfaction whether it’s a scale of musical notes, the loose swinging of arms on a walk, or matching trees on either side of a road.

Away We Go: Guts
The common phrase is so wrong; I don't hate guts. Indeed, I love you. Guts, please keep working. Our time together is so much better when I respect you and you do the same to me.

Away We Go: Ceremony
What are the things we take the time to gather for? What are the things that are important enough to stand in a group shoulder-to-shoulder?

Away We Go: Glitter
But whether it’s on the ocean or the lake or the roaring campfire, the light is playing. Sunlight has the work to do of growing plants and all the things that rely on them (including us) but when it hits the water it’s recess. Look how fancy I can be, it says. Watch this, it burbles. I can be useful and beautiful at the same time.
