Elizabeth Downing is a writer, photographer and fiber artist based in Utah.

Elizabeth’s writing transforms small, seemingly insignificant moments into meditations on thriving, parenting, and meaning. She writes creative nonfiction essays based on her two year road trip across the American West during the pandemic, which can be found here. She is also at work on several fiction projects. Her articles have been published in arts and culture magazines, a list of which can be found here.

In Elizabeth’s visual art, her installations explore how surfaces tell stories of changes from beneath. This work asks questions about the absorption and amplification of changes resonating on top and below. A resume of Beth's exhibitions and other arts-related work can be found here.
